Blackbirding in the Pacific

The topic this season is Pacific Stories. The second episode of our new season discusses Blackbirding within a Pacific context and our experiences with it. This episode we hope will open the Talanoa for all and was not intended to go in depth, rather be a launch pad for further Talanoa within our own homes. Blackbirding is a real and very painful part of our history with long lasting and contiuous effects to this day. We send love to all Pacific whānau who are still affected by this horrific practice and wish you healing in all its forms.
